The Reason I Have a Slight Limp

Track practice started on Tuesday! Well, I guess it actually started on Monday, but I didn't get my sports physical until Tuesday morning. I couldn't practice until I got that taken care of :(. Aside from that, I'm having an awesome time! I love, love,LOVE the hurdles and the high jump!
Duh statement of the post: In track, you run...a lot. More than I find enjoyable. The coaches (mainly Miss McElliot)are making us sprint, run, and jump until crawling is the only not-painful way to move, just to see who is going to quit. their little trap worked on like, 12 people. However, they wont be getting rid of ME so easily.

KCTS9 Writing Seminar!

This weekend Mom and I traveled up to Seattle again, but this time it was for a writing seminar! I entered a contest for extra credit in English class, so you can imagine my surprise when I was told my story won!

As a group we wrote a short story, had an awesome lunch, and got to play with a green screen. I'll upload some pictures when one more comes in, so look for those!

Road Trip!!

Again, sorry for the long wait. Busy, busy, busy! Speaking of which, my girl scout troop took a road trip to Seattle for the weekend! Here are some pictures of our awesosme time.










On Saturday, we went to the Space Needle, the E.M.P, and the Science Center. Everything was so cool! on sunday we went to the Pikes Place Market and saw some people get fish thrown at them (intentionally of course). I took a video, but it didn't save :-(...then I did the all out wierdest thing ever. We went to Gum Alley. The pictures of dots on the wall? Gum. Bubble gum, minty gum, lemon-lime gum, gum, gum, gum!!! it was the grossest yet coolest thing EVER! the picture of the gum with the bubble? That's MY gum! So I guess I had a pretty awesome time!
